This bench was created alongside a community partner-the town of Canmore, Alberta. They aptly named it “The Mountain Classic”. Our goal was to incorporate a number of features that were important for the user. The lower back rest design and contoured seat accommodates a wide variety of body types and encourages a longer hiatus. The large armrest allows people to nestle into the corner while the top of the armrest supports the arm in a natural way. The flat surface on the armrest design also makes it easier for lowering and standing up which bench makes this model extremely popular in settings, like seniors’ residences. We manufacture our own castings used on the leg ends from 100% recycled aluminum car and truck rims.
