Wishbone has been great for the Saskatoon Forestry Farm Park and Zoo. We love the maintenance free benches but, more importantly, our guests and donors get to have an amazing gift to honor and remember their loved ones.

Having collaborated closely with Wishbone Site Furnishings for over a decade, I can confidently attest to the exceptional quality, service, and reliability they've consistently provided to Thompson Rivers University. Wishbone's outdoor furniture has proven itself resilient in our challenging climate, requiring minimal maintenance while maintaining its aesthetic appeal. The support and professionalism demonstrated by the Wishbone team have been exemplary, making them a trusted partner in enhancing our campus environment. I have nothing but praise for Wishbone's product, service, resiliency, ease of maintenance, and support, and wholeheartedly recommend them to any institution seeking durable and stylish outdoor furniture solutions.

Thank you so much to Wishbone Site Furnishings for providing outdoor furniture to The King’s University in Edmonton, Alberta. We have installed Urban Form benches, waste receptacles, picnic tables, and Urban Space picnic tables at various locations around campus. All of these pieces have been in use for at least 2 years with several pieces of furniture having been installed for over 5 years.
King’s campus is a public space that serves approximately 900 students, has 120 employees, and hosts many external groups each year. The furniture gets considerable use year-round and is comfortable to sit on. We have received positive feedback from members of the King’s community who have used the furniture.
Our Wishbone furniture has been permanently installed on concrete/patio brick surfaces. The installation process was straightforward, and the furniture has proven to be durable and easy to maintain. Its design offers various configuration options, allowing for versatile arrangements. Overall, we highly recommend it as a choice for outdoor furniture.

“We purchased a variety of furniture pieces (benches, tables, bicycle racks and waste receptacles) for our flagship waterfront park in Wiarton. Wishbone worked with us patiently through several design concepts and revisions to the order, helping with recommendations and pushing their manufacturer to meet our very aggressive timeline. The pieces were packed with great care and arrived quickly despite their long commute. Everything arrived in great shape; the furniture is very well made, custom-manufactured and shipped fully assembled, unlike many of their competitors who offer flat-packed mass-produced equipment for a similar price. They even included touch-up kits for each of the colours we selected. I am very happy with the product and service we received, and would highly recommend Wishbone to others looking to purchase well-built, Canadian-made outdoor public furniture!”

Wilco has supplied and installed Wishbone site furnishings on several of our park and urban landscape projects throughout British Columbia, Alberta, and Saskatchewan since 2008. One such project as photographed here is Kensington Village in Saskatoon SK.
As a Landscape Architect I appreciate the Wishbone product for its’ aesthetics, function, value, durability, quality of material / construction, and fine attention to detail. Wishbone site furnishings do more than satisfy a functional requirement for one to rest their body, but rather do so in a way that places artfully crafted elements in the landscape, which serve to strengthen the designers’ passionate intent. There is nothing more disappointing than seeing a well-designed landscape being overlooked because of economically conventional site furnishings becoming the focal point.
As a Contractor, when pricing a project, consideration is given to the specified product availability, shipment logistics, product packaging in relation to storage, ease of assembly and installation, terms of product pricing from bid to supply, and most importantly quality over the long term. A deficiency in any of these variables will have negative implications on a contractor’s bottom line, as well as affect its hard-earned, easily lost reputation. Of late, the critical stumbling block for site furnishing manufacturers and suppliers has been product availability, timely shipment, availability of international transport, and a commitment to pricing. It is a real eye opener when one bases their bid price on price that is found later to be impacted because of material shortage and lack of international trucking. As a Canadian company that balances its commitments with resources, manufactures and ships locally, a contractor has a few less risks to consider when procuring Wishbone product, not to mention the feel of satisfaction of having purchased locally and supported local economies. All of Wishbone’s product come fully assembled and packed in a way that minimizes risk of damage as they are being stored, loaded, and transported to site. This may seem insignificant but is not when you consider the potential of an employee performing the work that slips in paying attention to proper product care. Installation is always an ease with Wishbone product, and a real time-saver. The non-existence of product deficiency over the long-term with our customers is a testament to the high-quality, do it right the first time, standard that Wishbone imparts on their team when creating each Wishbone piece.
As a believer in less is usually more, my experience with Wishbone can be easily summarized with a couple of sentences:
…For those that have specified, installed, or enjoyed a piece of Wishbone site furnishings - the product is the testimonial
…For those that haven’t - the owner regularly drives around his market area, product trailer in-tow, asking for customer input and review

“At Hasting Elementary, I’ve been checking up on the furniture and the bright red Bayview Hex Tables look good as the day they were installed! A lot of schools purchase wood furniture, and it just doesn’t last in our climate. That’s why I thought of Wishbone, because it lasts and looks great. The Wishbone benches and tables are used all the time, they’re just a great addition to school. I’ve had so many positive comments from parents and children, and other community groups are using them too.”
James Wright Memorial Bench
“Just under two years later, people still walk by and will start up a conversation, usually commenting on the bench and that they use it or pass by frequently. When I’m sitting and having my coffee, I tell them the story about my son, and that also adds to the community connection. I love that bench so much, I’ve seen more of them around the community recently too.”

Wishbone supplied the City of Campbell River all the furnishings last fall for an upgraded stretch of the South Island HWY south of Campbell River. Furnishings included bike racks, picnic tables, benches and our new single seat JEM lounge chairs.
Trina is the Parks Technician for the City of Campbell River and she recently gave us these comments regarding the JEM Lounge Chairs we supplied on the project.
Thank you to Wishbone for the JEM chairs. They are really comfortable, look terrific and the colours are perfect for the oceanside site. The chair blends the hues of driftwood and ocean and is a perfect complement to our branded City ‘blue’. Sitting in these chairs, placed as close to the beach as possible, is a magical experience. Imagine…a cup of coffee, and easy chair and a view that is out of this world!

Elim Village purchased 25 Mountain Classic Benches from Wishbone Site furnishings in Jan 2009. Over 8 years later, they are all still providing excellent seating for our residents and their guests and are holding up beautifully.

My husband and I were taking a walk in North Vancouver and I decided to stop for a quick rest on a city bench. Once I sat down I immediately told my husband “You’ve got to try this!”. It was the most comfortable bench I’d ever sat on. I noticed a product tag on another bench further on down Capilano Road, and wrote down the phone number. From there I contacted Wishbone and received a quick response and pricing for the identical all-metal “Mountain Classic” bench. Fast forward to the completion date and Wishbone even delivered the bench (including going down some tricky stairs!).
Thanks for providing such excellent service and an amazing product!

I would like to pass on our thanks to you and your amazing staff for all of their assistance and hard work in making our downtown revitalized and beautiful. It has been a few years now since we have installed our bear proof waste bins, recycling bins, benches, bike racks, and picnic tables.
They are weathering very well and still look new, even though the snow and ice try their best to wear them down. It is exciting ot see so many people sitting in our downtown core enjoy a coffee or ice cream or just taking a break from their day. Our downtown has been transformed into a welcome place for people to socialize and rest and just feel at home.
You and your staff have been very helpful when we have needed adjustments made on garbage bins, new decals sent out (valdalism - they seem to go missing) and any time we have had to order new items for other parks around town. We are installing picinic tables, garbage bins and benches that match the downtown in our parks around town as we are so happy with the durability of the product.
We apprecialte all youe hard work and are very satisfied with your product. Thank You.

We were finally able to have family gather to see the Rutherford Memorial bench Wishbone supplied last Summer. Attached are a couple pictures.
The location of the bench is in New Denver BC overlooking Slocan Lake and a very special place for my mom and 2 closest brothers. As kids they lived a block away. Their dad
was an engineer on the steamboats that hauled freight , rail cars up Slocan Lake. When they could hear the boat
arriving at the docks the young kids and their dog would walk to this spot and wait for the boat to be tied up to the dock.
Then they would walk the path down to see their dad, walk home with him.
I want to personally thank Logan and the rest of the team at Wishbone for the great and timely help that we received while ordering
the bench. I could always count on a quick reply to an email, or even the personal call back.
We have already been getting great feedback from the community on the quality and comfort of this beautiful bench.
